Ariel Springs Messianic Community is the Messianic Jewish/Hebrew Roots congregation affiliated with Torah Restoration Ministries. Pastored by Apostle, Prophet and Open-Air Evangelist Daniel Yochanon Lee, Ariel Springs Messianic Community is a miracle that has been long in its eventual birth.
In late 2003, Apostle Daniel and his wife, Prophetess Annika, formed a very small home-based congregation called House of YHVH deep in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California, only a few miles from Yosemite National Park. From late 2003 until early 2006, House of YHVH only consisted of Apostle Daniel, his wife and children. Finally, in late winter of 2006, a man named Rodney Timmons who lived nearby, stumbled upon the website and wanted to attend the sabbath services. Rodney soon became Elder Rodney Timmons, becoming an active member of House of YHVH.
In late 2006, we relocated from California to Portland, Oregon. Upon our arrival, we wanted to immediately secure both property and a home so that we could transition our congregation into a full-fledged community, Torah-based congregation.
In early 2007, we located a beautiful 2.5 acre property only 20 minutes from Mount Saint Helens, with a home and barns and storage facilities. It was perfect. Three natural springs are on the property. It is in the heart of the mountains, very secluded, and is very lush due to the 71 inches of rain that falls per year. The summers remain in the cool 70's and plenty of snow falls in the winter. Six different types of fruit trees are on the land, along with herb gardens, pure spring water and immense trees. The property is a microcosm of the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
We have purchased the house, barns and property and now are ready to close down House of YHVH and open Ariel Springs Messianic Community.
